- Check vehicle's A/C refrigerant for contaminated refrigerant. Identification results are: 100% R134a Diagnose air conditioning problems, add freon if needed, Check for leaks. Leak test system. Found the following problems: The compressor is a clutchless compressor, runs all the time, has internal valving to control refrigerant flow. Tested, the valve inside the compressor is bad, needs the compressor replaced.
- A/C COMPRESSOR – Remove & Replace – Gas,In-Line4 – [Includes: R&I Radiator.] – [DOES NOT include Air Conditioning System recover, evacuate and/or recharge.]
- Evacuate A/C system for 45 minutes minimum and recharge the A/C System. After charging, performance test system. Compressor works as designed, vehicle is cooling properly.
